This was inspired by my Popular Mechanics covers in the 90's, which, featured foreshortened, forced perspective-a PM tradition, and, hard to pull off- It's another "Senshi in motion" theme, Caliban bursting through the timegate.

I'd been stuck in the sketch stage, when, doing rounds at DA, thanking those who had faved and watched my gallery, I came upon the perfect angle and expression in her photographic face portrait featured on her front page. Although it might seem easy to have done "cut and paste", in fact, it took considerable effort to adapt and get the right look, and feel of the original portrait.

It seems to have a much better impact seen at large size...
