Another commissioned Senshi painting by
 is of the lead character of Rebecca Heineman's "Sailor Ranko" web comic series [link] of the 10th Senshi, Sailor Sun, to join the Sailor Moon crew, and, fight the demons and youmas trying to take over Tokyo...In the story, Sun was a reject long ago, trying out as a Senshi, and, spent time on a space station, trying to absorb and utilize the power of the sun. In the end, she is accepted as one of the Senshi. But, there's a secret she's hiding... (read it to find out) In this depiction, I drew on experience doing astronomical art, for the solar prominences on the sun's surface to get the feel for what her transformation might be like... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
